Issue #142 Thanksgiving Note from The Waterlady

Dear Friends of Water,
As Thanksgiving approaches here in the United States, I want to take a moment to reflect on the gratitude that fills my heart. While the holiday itself may be uniquely American, the sentiment behind it—thankfulness—knows no borders. So, whether you're reading this from across the street or across the globe, know that this message is meant for you.
When we started Salacious Drinks, we set out on a mission to redefine the way people experience water. We wanted to share the beauty, complexity, and stories behind natural, single-source waters from every corner of the world. What we didn’t fully realize was how many wonderful people we’d connect with along the way—people like you, who share our passion for discovering the world through water.
This Thanksgiving, I want to say thank you for being part of this journey. Every bottle you’ve explored, every new brand you’ve tried, and every story you’ve shared with us has made this adventure so rewarding. Your support fuels our commitment to finding the finest waters, building community, and spreading awareness about the importance of natural water sources.
For those of you celebrating Thanksgiving, I hope your table is filled with warmth, laughter, and a bottle of your favorite water. Whether it’s the crisp bubbles of Saint Géron (a personal favorite of mine!) paired with a sweet pumpkin pie or the still serenity of Solán de Cabras to balance a savory roast, water has a beautiful way of complementing life’s special moments.
If you’re not celebrating Thanksgiving, please know how deeply we still value you. Water connects us all, transcending cultures and continents. No matter where you are, we are grateful for the role you play in supporting Salacious Drinks and the incredible world of bottled water.
So, as you sip your favorite water today—be it sparkling, still, or effervescent—raise a glass with us in gratitude. Here’s to you, to the joy of discovery, and to the simple yet profound gift of water.
Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating, and to everyone, a heartfelt thank you for being part of The Droplet family.
Stay hydrated and stay curious,
Ashley,
The Waterlady
