Issue #283 What's Your Favorite Water?

When people ask me what my favorite water is, I usually smile and say, “It depends on the day.” Because honestly, I don’t have one favorite water  I drink based on what my body needs at the moment.

I think of water the same way a chef thinks about ingredients. Some days your body craves something rich in magnesium for muscle recovery, other days something with higher silica for glowing skin, or sodium for balance and energy. And then, of course, there are the days I’m hosting events  when I bring my iceberg waters for their freshness and mist waters for hydration and elegance.

🌿 Listening to Your Body Through Water

Every natural source water tells a story through its minerals. The more you tune in, the more you realize that your favorite water can change depending on your body’s rhythm, stress levels, or even the weather.

Here’s how I think about it:

  • Feeling Tired or Dehydrated?
Go for waters rich in sodium and bicarbonates. They help restore your electrolyte balance naturally. Brands like  Borjomi are great for replenishing minerals after long days or travel.

  • Looking for Better Skin and Hair?
You’ll want silica-rich waters like Three Bays or Fiji. Silica supports collagen production and keeps skin supple  it’s nature’s way of giving you that lit-from-within glow.

  • Muscle Recovery or Reducing Inflammation?
Choose waters high in magnesium such as Gerolsteiner. They help muscles relax and reduce inflammation, which makes them ideal after a workout (or a long day on your feet).

  • Digestive Support or Detox Days?
Look for bicarbonate-heavy waters like Ferrarelle . They gently help your digestive system reset and balance acidity in the stomach.

  • Need to Center Yourself Mentally?
Try waters rich in calcium and potassium like  22 Artesian. These minerals help support your nervous system and hydration on a cellular level.

💎 A Water for Every Moment

When I do tastings or events, I like to bring an iceberg water for its purity — a literal drop of ancient Earth. It’s smooth, silent, and grounding. And then I pair it with a mist water, something that feels light and hydrating, almost like drinking a cloud. Together they balance energy and elegance  much like a perfect meal pairing.

So when people ask, “What’s your favorite water?” I’ll always say  I don’t have one. Because water is not just about taste, it’s about connection. It’s about giving your body what it truly needs, one sip at a time.

Remember, your perfect water changes just like you do daily, beautifully, naturally.
